14.5. Printing from Chrome OS

Chrome OS supports native printing through the Common UNIX Printing System (CUPS) and Internet Printing Protocol (IPP).

Printing from Chrome OS

	If SavaPage IPP Everywhere is configured in a Local Network, the corresponding printer is automatically detected and can directly be used without any configuration. IP Based Authentication is needed before submitting a print job.
	You can add any SavaPage Local IPP Printer according to the SavaPage Printer URI syntax using Manufacturer Generic and Model Generic PostScript Printer. IP Based Authentication is needed before submitting a print job. For Internet Printer settings, see Internet Printer (no additional authentication is needed).
