Advanced File Types
-------------------

SavaPage printer supports additional file types using the PDF
converter of LibreOffice as summarized in the 
:ref:`table below <tbl-printable-file-types-advanced>`. Check if
LibreOffice is installed by entering the command:

  libreoffice --version

LibreOffice can easily be installed with the standard installer of the
GNU/Linux host. On Debian based systems you can use the command line to
install the packages needed. For example:

   # The core package
   sudo apt install libreoffice-core unoconv

   # To convert text, spreadsheet and presentation documents
   sudo apt install libreoffice-writer libreoffice-calc libreoffice-impress
