SavaPage Community
==================

You can actively join the SavaPage Community by purchasing support
from an authorized *SavaPage Service Provider* (SSP). You will get a
SavaPage |SERVICE_CARD| file in return. This file holds your Member
name and is your token as resident of the SavaPage Community. It can
be uploaded to show your status in the SavaPage Software. Members
have the right to request new features and are entitled to high-priority
Technical Support.

The Service Card has an expiration date. This date is displayed on the
Admin Web App :ref:`Dashboard <ch-webapp-admin-dashboard-status>`.
Exceeding this date serves as a reminder to extend the service period.
The absence of a Service Card or its expiration does not affect the
software's functionality in any way.

Whether you have a Service Card or not, you must always enter the name
of your organization. See :ref:`Organization <ch-webapp-admin-about-organization>`.

The community status is shown on the Admin Web App
:ref:`Dashboard <ch-webapp-admin-dashboard-status>` and the
:ref:`Support <ch-webapp-admin-about-support>` section of the About page.

Importing the |SERVICE_CARD|
----------------------------

The |SERVICE_CARD| is issued by a SavaPage Service Provider as a
digitally signed file. Installing the file into the application confirms
your community status. To install the file:

1. Log into the |RST_LINK_ADMIN_WEBAPP| and navigate to the |RST_LINK_ADMIN_ABOUT| page.

2. Scroll down to the |RST_LINK_ADMIN_ABOUT_SUPPORT| section 
   and click the |RST_BUTTON_IMPORT| button.

3. Verify that your Membership is correctly listed in the |RST_LINK_ADMIN_ABOUT_SUPPORT| section.

If you have questions about your |SERVICE_CARD| or need

   The file supplied is simply a digitally signed and zipped text file
   containing your Membership information. It's converted to ZIP format
   to minimize size. If you're interested in viewing the contents of the
   file, rename the file to ``.zip`` and simply open it in any ZIP
   extraction utility.
